From October 9th to October 13th, learn to let go with certified yoga instructor Kathleen Kloss, experiencing a relaxing and yet transformative retreat in São Lourenço do Barrocal.
Take part in our grape harvest, which begins sooner this year!
Get to know some of the harvest's secrets and practice grape picking. Visit the vineyards and the winery in full swing, participate in one of the most ancient agricultural practices and learn the skills from who knows best. Create 15 bottles of wine by harvesting 20 kg of grapes and wrap it with a wine tasting and lunch.

On August 13th São Lourenço do Barrocal will hold its first festival! We will be celebrating the saint who lends its name to our hotel: Saint Lawrence (São Lourenço), patron saint of cooks.
Smells like Summer, it's time for a picnic
This weekend opened the official Summer season (at least ours anyway!) and we made our first big picnic. The perfect tree shade was calling right by the lake shore and friends gathered to talk, laugh and teach the kids how to spot tiny frogs and crickets.
