Enjoying nature's treasures

Traditional crafting is deeply connected with culture, of course, but it also has a deep connection with nature. Looking around and creating with what the landscape gives us is an ancestral habit, and we are channeling that experience with this workshop. Using, whenever possible, the surplus wax our beehives give us, you'll be able to construct a precious heirloom that not only encapsulates the time spent with us, but also aims to inspire everyone to look at nature with respect and ingenuity.

Blending with a purpose

This activity is to be enjoyed by the whole family, from little ones to grown-ups. Led by our in-house biologist, you'll be invited to choose between a variety of molds, of all shapes and sizes, in which to pour the melted beeswax - whenever we don't have our own available, we source it from like-minded producers. Before it settles, you'll be taught about the dried aromatics we harvest from the estate, before you can add them to the candles, just like it has always been made. Each herb has a smell and each smell a specific trait. Have fun choosing your favourite!
