From the endless skies of the Alentejo to the curious eyes and hands of the little ones. This activity challenges children not only to build small houses and feeders (from scratch) for the region's flying fauna but also aims to raise awareness, through the observation of said birds, of the importance of wildlife preservation - in this case of nature’s feathery friends.
Combining the challenge of handicrafts with the interest in knowing more, this two-hour activity dedicates half its duration to the construction of two types of wooden nests and a feeder. The other half is reserved for the observation of species that want to get to know the constructions made by the small ornithologists. All without leaving the estate and with the important guidance of a specialist from Portugal Birds & Trails.
