Discovering Alentejo's traditional cooking

Focused on traditional Alentejo recipes and having as its main premise the almost exclusive use of ingredients grown and made in Barrocal - like vegetables, fruits, olive oil, honey, wine or herbs -, this workshop aims to showcase the identity of the Alentejo and the way in which our connection to the land translates into the transformation of simple products into delicious meals. On the menu you will find such classics as lamb chops, codfish "à Brás" or even scrambled eggs with fresh green asparagus.

Yes chef!

Our chef will welcome guests and then take them on a short walk to the vegetable garden. There, with his guidance, you will be able to choose the best seasonal ingredients, returning later to the venue where the workshop will take place - one of our houses or even our outside kitchen near the pool -. Awaiting you will find all the equipment ready, table set and staff ready to welcome you with a welcome drink. Everyone will have a chance to collaborate in cleaning, cutting and cooking the ingredients. The experience includes three courses, all paired with our wines and served in an exclusive but relaxed atmosphere.
